چکیده
The purpose of this study was to evaluate differences in the GH responses Kangaroo exercise between normal-weight and obese children both genders. Methods: Children (aged 11.28±0.54 y) were divided into; boys (N=17), (N=13), girls (N=15), (N=9). All participants did exercises with 9 jumps, for a total 7 sets ten repetitions each leg. Before after exercise, measured their serum concentrations. Results: results showed that (both obese) had higher concentration than at pre-exercise post-exercise (all, p < 0.05). There no normal weight genders) groups pre-test (p > However, post-test, Moreover, presented In contrast, lower Conclusion: Obese diminished acute kangaroo exercise. displayed concentrations as compared girls.

متن کاملAttentional Distraction during Exercise in Overweight and Normal-Weight Boys
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of attentional distraction on field running distance and activity intensity during an exercise session in normal-weight and overweight youngsters and to investigate potential mediators. Fifty-three 12-14 yr-old boys participated twice in a 12-min running test and a 20-min exercise session, once with attentional distraction (by listerning t...
متن کاملCirculating leptin level and growth hormone response to stimulation tests in obese and normal children.
OBJECTIVE Growth hormone secretion is decreased in obese subjects, and their GH response to stimulation tests is blunted. The mechanisms relating excess adipose mass and GH secretion are unknown. We hypothesized that leptin might be a signal linking adipose mass to GH secretion. DESIGN We measured serum leptin levels and the GH response to stimulation tests in 42 obese and 40 lean short norma...

Objectives. To determine the effect of sex and obesity on vascular function in children and explore potential mechanisms that account for differences in vascular function. Methods. Participants were 61 (30 boys) normal-weight (BMI 25-75% ile for age and sex) and 62 (30 boys) obese (BMI ≥ 95% ile) children of ages 8-18 years. متن کاملAcute affective responses to prescribed and self-selected exercise intensities in young adolescent boys and girls.
This study examined the patterning of acute affective responses to prescribed and self-selected exercise intensities in a young adolescent population. Twenty-two young adolescents (13.3 +/- .33 years) completed a maximal exercise test to identify ventilatory threshold (VT). Participants then completed two prescribed intensities (one set above and one below the VT) and a self-selected intensity....
